Braked too fast/not steady speed/changed gears

You need to slow down to an appropriate speed before entering a curve and then maintain that speed through the curve, accelerating no sooner than the apex or mid-point of the curve. This is done to prevent you losing control of the vehicle. You should also downshift into the proper gear before the turn and have both hands on the wheel for the turn. A lack of skill on turns is a major error.
