When making your turn you must maintain proper distance between you and the car ahead. A Gap of 2-3 seconds is recommended in perfect conditions but, must be increased based on weather and road conditions. This is important so that you don’t have a rear-end crash with the vehicle in front. To do this, pick a fixed object and as the car in front passed it, count one…one thousand…two…one thousand…three…one thousand. If you have not reached the same object after counting to 3, then you have sufficient distance to brake, if required. Following too closely would be marked as a major error. Maintaining proper distance between vehicles based on road and weather conditions is very important on a G2 Exit (G Test).
