Speed: too fast / too slow / enter / leave / impedes
- Your speed must be appropriate entering and exiting a turn.
- Failure to do so could cause you to lose control or cause a rear-end collision.
- Inappropriate speed could be a minor or major error depending on the severity of the error. It could also lead to additional errors such as turning wide. Showing a lack of skill in turns is not a good thing on a G1 Exit Test (G2 Test).
- To so this properly you need to drop your speed as you approach a turn, normally in a straight line, use the remaining energy in the car to take you around the turn and not being to accelerate until at least half way around the turn. You must not stop or go too slow around the turn.
